I work on backend software at Doordash on the Storefront product for merchants. We're a small team and operate like a startup within a big company, so I get to wear lots of hats and design, implement, and maintain a variety of systems. It's been a great work environment with a high potential for impact.
Outside of work, I enjoy expanding my breadth of knowledge through a mix of reading and hands-on implementation. I've (mostly) finished several excellent textbooks such as SICP, The Algorithm Design Manual, DDIA, and Elements of Computing Systems (nand2tetris). Next on my list of topics are networking, distributed systems, and compilers.
